Services Provided

Description of Services

Comprehensive Psychiatric Outpatient Services shall be in accordance with the services set forth by DHS/DMH Medicaid Rule 132:
  • All services shall be provided by physicians licensed under the Medical Practice Act of 1987.
  • Such physicians are either Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in psychiatry with experience in providing clinical psychiatric services to children and adolescents


Eligibility for Services

Who is Eligible

Adults 17 years old and younger who meet the following criteria:

  • Children and Adolescents who have had multiple, or lengthy admissions to a SOF and/or community-based inpatient psychiatric facilities.
  • Children and Adolescents who may be at imminent risk of hospitalization or who may be in need of less restrictive but still more intensive services that are available in the community.

Contact Central Intake at 815-727-8521 (8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday). An Admissions staff member will process your request for services, review your eligibility for service, and if you meet our admission criteria, schedule an appointment with a counselor
