The Anti-Stigma Symposium is an initiative of the Will County MAPP Collaborative, Awareness Action Team.  This team addresses the priority of Behavioral Health.  Many people do not receive the needed serves because of the stigma associated with behavioral health issues.  The Anti-Stigma Collaborative strives to reduce this stigma.  The Collaborative is run by students from Joliet Junior College.  In addition to an annual symposium, they have also developed a website www.willfindhope.org for information to help those seeking services.

If you are interested in attending the Symposium on April 26, 2014, please RSVP to antistigma.symposium.rsvp@gmail.com.
