Public Health Educators Kathleen Harkins and David Campbell of the Will County Health Department's Family Health Services Division joined Advanced Practice Nurse Christine Foster during a videotaping by Bolingbrook Village Television of the program "Bridging the Gap," Tuesday evening March 6th at 7 PM. This program was originated by former Bolingbrook Trustee Leroy Brown, who passed away in October of 2017. The the request of Brown's family, Trustee Mike Lawler has continued the program as its new host.
The main topics discussed was the teen pregnancy prevention program curriculum that has been taught in the Valley View School District, along with services available from the walk-in Teen Clinic at the Will County Health Department's Northern Branch Office, 323 Quadrangle Drive in Bolingbrook.
The program will be shown for the next several Thursdays at 7 PM, and will be available for viewing on Bolingbrook Village Television, channel 6 (BCTV6), or around Will County on Channel 99 for those who have U-Verse. While the program is being aired, it will also be streamed simultaneously on the Bolingbrook village website (Bolingbrook.com, go to BCTV Live).
