Have you asked yourself: “Where can I find help in this town?”

If you have, then ask no more! Will County has a new website to help residents stay informed about services available to help those in need.

The Awareness Action Team of the Will County MAPP Collaborative, in partnership with Crisis Line of Will County, have developed WILLFINDUHELP, that maintains an updated directory of services and programs and how to contact them. The website can also be accessed on mobile devices.

When you visit the website you will see that you are immediately exposed to help whether it is seeking information and referrals or counseling. Click on the WILLFINDUHELP button on the Home Page and you will find the option to skim through resources by the category of services that are offered, such as health care, education, or substance use. Additionally, as you navigate the website you’ll find an option to enter a keyword and search for exactly what you need.

Community members who want to learn more about this exciting new tool are invited to attend a special event to reveal and explain the website. The event takes place on Friday, August 23, 2013, 9 to 10:30 a.m., at the Will County Office Building, 302 N. Chicago St. Joliet, IL.
