Health Department Activates Local Ebola Information Line

New Resource Designed To Keep Area Residents Current On Ebola Developments

Another option provides random notes chronicling important Ebola developments anywhere.

There is also an option available for physicians and other healthcare providers who need to consult directly with Will County Infectious Disease Control.

The Information Line has been constructed so that changes to the content can be made at a moment’s notice. The ability to quickly alter content means callers can learn about urgent Ebola news whenever it breaks.

The Will County service is not meant to supplant Illinois’ 24-hour Ebola Line (800-889-3931). The state line is a live service provided in consort with the Illinois Poison Control Center. The new Health Department resource is designed principally for area residents searching for news on Will County Ebola issues.

The Health Department website includes the latest Ebola developments and links to the National Centers for Disease Control and the Illinois Department of Public Health. Visit us anytime at
