It is the mission of the Human Resources Department to provide strategic leadership in the development, implementation and administration of sound policies and programs that ensure the successful recruitment, selection and retention of a diverse, well-qualified workforce. We also provide leadership in promoting harmonious relationships between organized labor and management. The Department of Human Resources is committed to providing quality services to support current employees or those considering employment with the Will County Health Department. The Human Resources staff manages processes such as employee recruitment and selection, equity/diversity and position classification. Human Resources maintains and updates a list of position vacancies. Will County provides a progressive and comprehensive benefits package and employees are covered by various retirement, deferred compensation, and insurance programs.
