We Can Help! - Freedom From Smoking Program

The Will County Health Department is proud to offer the American Lung Association's Freedom From Smoking (FFS) program. Through the use of a highly structured behavior change model, the FFS program has proven very effective in assisting individuals who wish to stop smoking. Trained professionals teach each seven-session program. We also offer the best available support materials to ensure that remaining smoke-free will become a permanent lifestyle choice.

The cost of the FFS program is $20.00 per person, which covers program materials. Instruction is FREE. You'll also be awarded an "I Quit" t-shirt if you are 100% smoke-free at the end of the program. Youth Prevention and Workplace Programs

Additionally, our office offers Youth Tobacco Prevention programs, Clean Indoor Air initiatives, and FFS programs for workplaces. We can also assist employers with planning for a smoke-free workplace. If you would like information about these programs, contact our staff at 815-727-8769.
