POSITION VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
POSITION:	Interpreter Clerk
DIVISION:	Behavioral Health Programs
WAGES:	Grade 7 Hourly Wages ($10.40- $17.47)
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:	Responsible to assigned Division Director /Department Head, generally through intermediate supervisor as directed. Applicant will be working assisting with oral interpreting and sight translation in an Adult and Child and Adolescent Behavioral service setting. This applicant will assist with performing phone and personal reception in a fast paced work environment. The applicant must possess good people skills and be a team player.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:	High School Diploma or equivalent. Applicant must have one (1) year as an Interpreter /translator in Healthcare or Social Service environment or similar background.
REQUIREMENTS:	Must possess a valid Illinois Driver's License, minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of employment eligibility. Applicant must complete a test including filing alphabetically and numerically. Successful completion of Interpreter bilingual assessment.
DESIRED:	Applicant will work some evening hours & Saturdays.
