POSITION VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
POSITION:	Outreach Specialist I, or II
DIVISION:	Family Health Services
WAGES:	Outreach Specialist I: Grade 9 Hourly Wages: ($11.55- $19.41) Outreach Specialist II: Grade 10 Hourly Wages: ($13.72-$23.05)
DESCRIPTION:	Paraprofessional position responsible for participates in implementing educational programs and outreach activities in the Community. Area of concentration includes teen parents. Reports to Program Coordinator and works cooperatively with all program staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:	Outreach Specialist I: High School Diploma or equivalent. Bilingual Spanish skills preferred. Three (3) years experience in public health. Data entry and word processing skills. Outreach Specialist II: Associate's Degree, bilingual Spanish skills preferred, with three (3) years experience in Public Health, and data entry and word processing skills.
REQUIREMENTS:	Must possess a valid Illinois Driver's License, have own vehicle and proof of minimum car liability insurance. Verification of employment eligibility.
DESIRED:	Experience with outreach in the community.
