POSITION:	Program Coordinator
DIVISION:	Environmental Health
WAGES:	Commensurate with experience
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:	Responsible to the Director of Environmental Health. Position requires supervision and coordination of personnel engaged in Environmental Health services and related activities. Reviews official directives to ascertain such data as changes prescribed in Environmental Health. Plans or conducts, or arranges for, indoctrination and training of assigned personnel. Assists with budget preparation and the management of appropriated funds. Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:	Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in Environmental Health or related field, and be registered as a Licensed Environmental Health Practitioner (LEHP), in accordance with the provisions of the LEHP Act by the State of Illinois or reciprocal State required and have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in Environmental Health or; a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health or related field, and be a LEHP, in accordance with the provisions of the LEHP Act, by the state of Illinois or reciprocal State required and have minimum of five (5) years experience in the environmental health field.
REQUIREMENTS:	Personal vehicle in operable condition with minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of U.S. citizenship or employment eligibility.
DESIRED:	Management experience.
