Grants

Special projects that cannot be addressed through routine means are accomplished through grants. The Environmental Health Division has received grants for a radon study and radon education, for the trapping and testing of mosquitoes for West Nile Virus, and to address longterm community developments needs, such as sewer and water extension. In addition, the Environmental Health Division is a sponsor on a grant proposal to phase in municipal and water sewer to a section of homes in Joliet Township that are requesting our assistance.
