Tanning Facilities

The Environmental Health Division is the authorized agent for IDPH to conduct inspections of all tanning bed facilities in the County of Will. Currently, there are approximately 75 licensed tanning facilities in the county. The Environmental Health Division utilizes 16 trained and IDPH certified tanning inspectors to ensure that all tanning facilities are operated in accordance with the appropriate state regulations.
