The Ad Council in partnership with the American Diabetes Association, the American Medical Association, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have teamed up to develop the Prediabetes: It’s Real, and You May Have It campaign. Current CDC research proves that close to 86 million US adults have prediabetes, and 90% of them don’t know it. The purpose of this first-ever national public service campaign is to raise prediabetes awareness and to educate American people that prediabetes is real.
