The mission of the Coalition Toward a Tobacco-Free Will County is to educate the public about the impact of tobacco use and advocate for policies that reduce and prevent tobacco use in order to improve the quality of life for all.
The Coalition Toward a Tobacco-Free Will County will work to:
- Prevent tobacco use among young people.
- Promote tobacco use cessation among young people.
- Eliminate exposure to secondhand smoke.
- Identify and eliminate tobacco-health disparities among specific population groups.

The Coalition Toward a Tobacco-Free Will County meets bimonthly at the Will County Health Department (501 Ella Avenue, Joliet, IL 60433). Each meeting is scheduled for two hours. A phone conferencing option may be available to coalition members unable to attend in person. Coalition members participating in subcommittees may need to communicate (via. meeting, phone calls, and emails) between bimonthly meetings to work on coalition activities.
