Dental Care

Dental Services are provided to private insurance, Medicaid recipients, low income and non-insured people. We now accept DentaQuest for Dental Medicaid Managed Care. Dental non-insured patients are responsible for payment at the time of service. Charges are based on a sliding fee scale with proof of income.

Fees

As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Will County Community Health Center offers discounts based on federally established guidelines. You may be eligible for a discount if you are not covered by an insurance plan. Services are not free.

Immunization Clinics

The Will County Community Health Center regularly offers immunizations at three convenient locations.

Governing Council

The Will County Community Health Center Governing Council supervises the operations of the Community Health Center through the activities of five standing committees: Governance, Executive, Quality, Finance and Credentialing.

Physicians

The Community Health Center physicians play a key role in providing quality healthcare to the residents of Will County. Multidisciplinary care is provided six days a week with two evening sessions, plus 24 hour physician accountability.

Provides Dental Services to Schools and Shelters

Will County’s 40-foot mobile dental van features digital x-ray capabilities and two fully-equipped dental chairs. It will enable Will County Community Health Center dental professionals to offer services to clients at schools and community shelters who might not otherwise have access to preventive and restorative dental services.

Volunteer Opportunities

The WCCHC is committed to making books part of a healthy childhood. The WCCHC is involved in the ROR National Pediatric Literacy Program.

Schedule Your Pap Test

Women can prevent cervical cancer! Regular screening with Pap tests can detect cell changes before cancer develops. Cervical cancer was once the leading cause of death for women in the U.S. However, deaths have decreased largely due to the use of regular pap tests and pelvic exams. Regular testing is crucial in identifying cervical cancer or pre-cancerous conditions.
